If the video opens in a new tab instead, tap the Share button there and choose Save to Files.
If the video opens instead, tap ⋮ in Chrome, then Download.
If the video opens in a new tab, right-click it and choose Save video as.
Saved a whole carousel as a ZIP file? Tap it in Files on iPhone, or open it in Files by Google on Android, to unzip the videos. On a computer, double-click it.
Public Reels, video posts and carousels that contain videos. Stories, private accounts and photos aren't supported yet.

Instagram serves the file from its own servers, so some browsers play it rather than save it. Use your browser's menu, or press and hold the video, to save it.

Only download videos you made yourself or have the creator's permission to save, and respect copyright when you use them. Saving a video doesn't give you the right to repost it.
